Value of the PTO Membership:

Being a part of the RSES Parent Teacher Organization is more than just joining. It is a way to support your child by being engaged in their learning community while working with an amazing team of parents and teachers. RSES PTO works very hard behind the scenes raising money to fund materials, programs, and services that are not covered in the school district's budget. We are an essential part of the learning community, and we hope you will join us!

The PTO believes that parent involvement is essential to a student's success, and we encourage all parents and faculty to join the PTO. Please consider helping in any way that fits into your schedule. You can attend meetings, volunteer your time on a committee or in the classroom and support the fundraising events to help educate your child. The amount of time you spend participating in PTO activities is up to your discretion. The most important thing is that you are actively involved in your child's educational experience.

Our goal is for 100% of our families to join!

If I join, do I have to?

• Go to meetings?

  No. You are welcome to attend our general meetings though if you would like.

• Volunteer or spend a lot of time at school?

  Nope! Joining RSE PTO is not the same as volunteering. If you choose to volunteer we would LOVE the help—but volunteering is not required.

Who can join the PTO?

• Any parent, teacher, or other employee of the school who believes in and supports our purpose and shares in our passion for making every child's potential a reality.
