WHY:
"When my daughter started kindergarten, as a new family to the school, it felt like I was sending her into the school without visibility into what happened each day. I spent the first year getting the 'lay of the land', so to speak, and then found a couple of things that I COULD do as a working parent. My company fully supports volunteering, so I spend an hour and a half in the library 2-3 times a month.
